Accessibility at Hotel Schani Wien

No matter if you arrive by plane, train or car, you can reach Hotel Schani Wien barrier-free. Depending on availability you can park your car in our garage. An elevator takes you from the garage directly to the lobby or to your floor. Our elevator has a door width of 80 cm, the cabin is 140 cm deep and 120 cm wide.

If you wish, we can organize a transfer service from the airport arrival hall to our front door. Directly opposite the hotel you will also find the tram stop of line D. While all the Smart Street Rooms and the Smart Garden Rooms at Hotel Schani Wien are 100 % barrier-free, we have explicitly designed three rooms to meet the needs of our guests in wheelchairs. They are equipped with emergency lines that trigger an alarm at the reception and offer enough space to turn your wheelchair around. The spacious shower as well as the toilet are equipped with handles and the sink is accessible by wheelchair. The light switches are at a height where they can be easily reached from a wheelchair.

All rooms at Hotel Schani Wien are equipped with laminate floors in the sleeping area and tiles in the bathroom. The reading lamps by the bed can be switched on and off directly from the bed.

Our lounge on the first floor is not only lobby, bar and breakfast area, but above all a place to meet. All areas of our lounge and our cozy garden are accessible barrier-free. The lobby has concrete and parquet flooring, the garden is equipped with a terrace made of larch wood and a path made of sand that leads through our Urban Jungle. Our breakfast buffet is easily accessible as well. However, if needed, we will be happy to serve your breakfast directly to your table.
